App Push Notifications

Drivers can receive push notifications via the app based on different charging scenarios. Here's a breakdown of the notifications and when they are sent:

Delay Charging App Push Notifications

  1. Vehicle Plugged In: When the driver plugs in the vehicle to the charger, the following push notification is sent:

    • "Vehicle plugged in. Standard charging will start at 10 PM."

  2. Charging Initiated: When charging is initiated at the beginning of the off-peak period, the notification reads:

    • "Standard charging started at 10 PM."

  3. Charging Paused: When a vehicle is charging during off-peak hours and charging is paused due to peak hours, the driver receives:

    • “Charging has been paused due to peak electricity hours and will resume at 11:00 PM. You can boost to override.”

Secure Charging App Push Notifications

If secure charging is enabled and charging is not activated within 3 minutes, the driver will be notified:

  • “Authentication is required to start charging.”

Charging Completed App Push Notifications

Upon charging completion, drivers receive notifications based on the scenario:

  1. Standard Completion:

    • "Charging completed at 6:00 AM, 23kWh added."

  2. Idle Fee Applied: If an idle fee is applied, the notification will be:

    • "Charging completed at 6:00 AM, 23kWh added. Idle parking fee of $5/hour will be applied after 15 minutes."

By understanding these notifications, drivers can stay informed about their vehicle's charging status and take necessary actions promptly.
