What is the Fixed per Period rate?
This rate type allows billing based on how long a vehicle is actively charging, regardless of how much energy is used. It’s ideal for:
Locations that double as time-limited parking spots
Enforcement of charger occupancy in shared environments
Key benefits
Simple pricing for time-sensitive setups: Set fixed fees per 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
Compatible with idle fees: Applies only during active charging.
Integrated with statements and receipts: “Charging costs” now appear in both driver and account statements, with duration-based line items reflected in receipts.
How to configure a Fixed per Period rate
Go to Operator Settings → Rate Plans → Add Rate Plan.
Choose Fixed per period under Rate type.
Select an interval: 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
Set the cost per interval (e.g., $5/hr).
(Optional) Add a Parking refund per interval to offset the cost. Refund will apply per hour or part of it.
Driver experience in the app and via Scan to Charge
Driver App:
Before a session begins, the Charging Time cost and refund appear in the pricing breakdown.
If the refund fully offsets the session cost, the final charge appears as $0 in the Transactions History screen.
Confirmation messages and in-app notifications are updated to reflect when no invoice is issued due to a full refund.

Can I combine Fixed per period with energy-based pricing?
No. This rate type is used independently but can be combined with idle fees.
Where will the new rate appear for users?
In the pricing card in-app, and in all billing documents and receipts.
