Before You Start

  • You must have Admin permissions in the back office to assign an RFID card to a driver.

  • An RFID card contains a unique ID number. This number is printed on some cards but not all. If you do not have the number, contact Wevo Support.

  • Drivers can also add RFID cards directly in the mobile app. See the related articles in Related Help below.

Assign an RFID Card to a Driver

  1. In the back office, click the Users tab.

  2. Locate the driver:

    • Use the search bar to find them by name or email.

    • Or scroll through the list.

  3. Click the three-dot menu on the far right of the driver’s row.

  4. Select RFID from the menu.

  5. Enter the RFID card number.

  6. Click Save.

The card is now assigned to that driver and will appear in their profile.

Viewing RFID Assignments in the Users and Transaction Tables

The Users and the Transactions tabs include an RFID column that lists all RFID values linked to each driver.
This column is hidden by default.

  2. Turn on the RFID column.

  3. The table will then display all RFID values for each driver.

Note: RFID values in this column are not included in exports.

Tips

  • You can assign multiple RFID cards to the same driver.

  • If an RFID card is already assigned to another driver, remove it from that driver before reassigning.

  • For shared or public charging, make sure the assigned RFID matches the card used at the charger.
