Understanding User Scopes and Capabilities

The back office offers various user types to ensure flexibility in managing access and operations. Review the details below to determine which user role to assign based on their unique capabilities.

Operator-Level Roles

To grant access to all accounts, a user must be an operator-level role

To assign an operator role, follow the next steps:

  1. Navigate to the Users tab in the 'all account' view.

  2. Click the Add user option (the plus button on the far right).

List of Operator-Level Roles

Operator Viewer

  • View-only access to all accounts.

  • Cannot use the APP as an end-user.

Operator Agent

  • Can perform basic operations in all accounts:

    • Add drivers

    • Add chargers

    • Start/stop transactions, unlock connectors

    • Add group discounts to a driver

  • Cannot use the APP as an end-user.

Operator Admin

  • Can view and edit all settings in all accounts.

  • Can view/edit all operator settings: Rate plans, groups, billing.

  • Cannot use the APP as an end-user.

Multi-Accounts User Roles

Multi-accounts roles enhance account management flexibility, simplifying operations for users overseeing multiple sites across various back-office accounts. This feature is particularly useful for property managers and others needing to manage multiple accounts while minimizing privacy concerns.

  • To grant access to multi-accounts roles, a user must be in an operator-level role.

  • To enable this capability, please contact our support team.

To assign a multi-account role, follow the next steps:

  1. Navigate to the Users tab in the 'all account' view.

  2. Select Add/Edit a user

  3. Choose the desired role.

List of Multi-Accounts Roles

Multi Account Viewer

  • View-only access to selected accounts.

  • Cannot perform any actions.

  • Cannot use the app as an end-user

Multi Account Agent

  • Can perform basic operations within selected accounts:

    • Add drivers

    • Add chargers

    • Start/stop transactions, unlock connectors

  • Cannot add group discounts to a driver.

  • Cannot use the app as an end-user

Multi Account Admin

  • Can view and edit all settings within selected accounts.

  • Cannot edit/view operations outside of the operator settings: groups, rate plans, billing.

  • Cannot use the app as an end-user

Specific Account User Roles

To grant access to multi-accounts roles, a user must be in an account-level role.

To assign an account role, follow the next steps:

  1. Go to the Users tab within the desier account view.

  2. Select the desired account.

  3. Click on the Add user option (the plus button on the right).

Account Viewer

  • View-only access to one specific account.

  • Cannot perform any actions.

  • Can also use the APP as an end-user.

Account Agent

  • Can perform basic operations within this specific account:

    • Add drivers

    • Add chargers

    • Start/stop transactions, unlock connectors

    • Cannot add group discounts to a driver

  • Can use the APP as an end-user.

Account Admin

  • Can view and edit all settings in this specific account.

  • Cannot edit/view operations outside of the operator settings: groups, rate plans, billing.

  • Can use the app as an end-user.
