Who Can Reset User Passwords

Administrators have the ability to reset passwords for:

  • App drivers requiring access to the mobile application

  • Account users managing back office functions

  • Multi account users working across multiple accounts

What Happens When a Password is Reset

When a temporary password is generated, users must change it during their first login. The temporary password:

  • Provides secure initial access

  • Remains valid for 30 days

  • Requires immediate update for continued access

How to Generate a Temporary Password

To reset a user's password, administrators can:

  1. Navigate to the Users tab

  2. Locate the specific user and click their three-dot menu

  3. Select "Reset password"

  4. View the generated temporary password in the "Set password" dialog box

  5. Click "Set temporary password" to finalize the process

When to Use Password Reset

Use the password reset function when:

  • Users are locked out of their accounts

  • New users need initial access

  • Security protocols require password changes

This secure process allows administrators to maintain account security while efficiently supporting all user types.
