What are Scheduled Idle Fees?

Idle fees are charges applied when your vehicle remains plugged in after charging is complete. Some operators apply these fees only during certain hours.

If a schedule is set, idle fees will only apply during those hours. If your charging session spans both scheduled and unscheduled periods, only idle time within the scheduled hours is charged.

How to View Idle Fee Schedules in the App

The schedule is shown only if the charger’s rate includes Scheduled Idle Fees.

  1. Select a charger from the map or charger list.

  2. In the rate details, look for the info icon next to the idle fee.

  3. Tap the icon to see the hours when idle fees apply.

If the info icon is not visible, this means the charger does not have scheduled idle fees — they either apply 24/7 or not at all.

Notifications About Idle Fees

The app will notify you:

  • When idle fees are active during your session.

  • Before idle fees start, so you can disconnect in time.

Example Scenario

If idle fees apply from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM:

  • You plug in at 5:00 PM and finish charging at 5:30 PM.

  • You stay plugged in until 7:00 PM.

  • You are only charged for the idle time from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

FAQs

  • What if my operator doesn’t set a schedule?
Idle fees apply 24/7 unless a schedule is configured.

  • Do I need to manually check the schedule each time?
No. You’ll get push notifications in the app whenever idle fees are active or about to start.
