Scan to Charge for public charging is an easy way to charge an EV without an app or membership. Everything happens in the smartphone’s web browser.

To initiate QR code charging without a mobile app, please follow the next steps:
Step 1: Scan the QR Code
Use your phone to scan the QR code on the charging station. This will launch the welcome page on your mobile browser.
Step 2: Start Charging
On the welcome page, tap the 'Start' button.
Step 3: Select Socket
If the charger scanned has more than one socket, choose the one you want to use.
Step 4: Enter Your Phone Number
Provide your phone number. This is needed so we can follow up with messaging about your charging process.
Step 5: Approve your phone number
We will send you a four-digit PIN code via SMS. Enter the PIN code received to continue.
Step 6: Review Pricing
The pricing page shows the cost of the charging session. Check the charging cost and click 'Pay with card' to proceed. The system remembers any card that was previously used and offers to reuse it.
Step 8: Approve the "Hold" message
The temporary hold is a pre-authorization amount placed on your payment method when you start a Scan to Charge session. It's important to understand:
This hold is not an actual charge
It's a temporary reservation of funds
The amount may appear as $50 (or equivalent in other currencies). Once payment is confirmed, charging will start automatically.
