What is an EVSE ID?

Each charging connector has a standardized EVSE ID (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Identifier) that serves as a globally unique identifier. These identifiers follow the format defined in ISO 15118 and eMI3 standards, making them compatible with roaming applications and incentive program reporting requirements.

Viewing a Charger's EVSE ID

To find the EVSE ID for any charger in your system:

  • Navigate to the Charges tab in your dashboard

  • Locate the charger you want to check

  • Click the three-dot menu next to the charger

  • Select "Edit connector" to view the EVSE ID

The EVSE ID displayed follows standardized formatting, ensuring consistency across all charging networks and compatibility with various EV charging applications and reporting systems.
