Add a Public Charging Location on the web (plugshare.com)

To enter locations into Plugshare, the responsibility falls on the CPO who must create an account and sign in. Once logged in, the menu will be visible on the left side of the screen.

  1. Click the three lines (hamburger menu) on the top left to open the main menu

  2. Select "Add Station" to open the station options, then click "Add Public Location."

  3. A pop-up will ask you to provide details, including the required:

    • Location Name: Display the name of the location that users view

    • Address: Enter the exact address of the charging location

      • Move Pin to Address: We recommend this option if you have entered the address

      • Set Address to Pin: Pin will move to the address of your current location (based on your IP)

    • Stations: Add the plug type(s) the location offers

      • Select the plug type of the charger

      • Select the charging Network (if applicable)

    • Is This Location Open/Active: Answer yes or no if available to use

    • For details on other location fields you can provide, check out our article on Station Details.

  4. Click "Submit" to add the location to the PlugShare map

Deleting Photographs or check-in comments

To prevent the removal of photos, they restricted access for users to delete photos of location listings. If you posted a photo by mistake, find a photo posted by another driver that should be deleted, or would like to make edits to a photo, please let them know by submitting a form with the following details in the description:

  • Location name

  • Address

  • PlugShare URL of the location

  • Description of the photo

  • Original photo uploaded to the location (if applicable)

Tips:

When submitting a request, enter one request at a time per location. PlugShare will only edit one location on one ticket.

To access advanced features on PlugShare, such as the ability to provide a more detailed description of your network, display additional network media, or access more editing options for your sites, you must have at least 50 locations deployed on your network as requested by PlugShare service associates. You may apply and get more information from the link provided below
