Overview of the Account Statements Feature

Our Account Statements feature provides operators with a detailed financial overview for each account, simplifying billing management, reporting, and reconciliation of charging activity. This feature, available under the Statements tab in the back office, automatically generates statements at the end of each calendar month, ensuring a consistent view of account activity.

Key Benefits

  1. Comprehensive Financial Insight

    • Each account’s statement includes detailed breakdowns of electricity usage, costs, and additional fees such as boost, connection, and idle fees.

  2. Revenue Sharing Transparency

    • For accounts with revenue-sharing agreements, statements display handling fees and deposits, enhancing transparency between operators and account holders.

Accessing Account Statements

To view an account statement:

  1. Go to the Statements tab and select the Account sub-tab.

  2. Each month, a new row is generated for each account. Locate the desired account and click the three-dot menu in the statement row.

  3. Select Show statement to open a detailed view and export it as a PDF if needed.

Default and Additional Columns

The Account sub-tab provides essential information in default columns, with more detailed data available by unhiding additional columns.

Viewing and Downloading Detailed Account Statements

Click Show statement in the action menu to access a comprehensive statement view, which is available as a downloadable PDF.

Each statement includes two main tables:

  1. Account Summary Table
This table provides a high-level overview of the month's financials for the account.
    It includes:

    1. Total Electricity consumption

    2. Payment before tax and VAT

    3. Total tax or VAT

    4. The total amount, which is the sum of all the drivers' total dues for that month

    5. Operator's share. This is shown for accounts where revenue share between the charge point operator and the property owner is set up.

    6. Operator's share tax or VAT

    7. Operator's share total

    8. Deposit to account: That is the amount deposited to the Stripe-connected account in cases of revenue sharing—essentially, the total amount after
      deducting the Operator's share.

  2. Driver Details Table
This table breaks down the statement information for each driver within the account. Each of the row represents a single driver statement.
    It includes:

    1. The sum of Electricity used by each driver

    2. Charging costs

    3. Membership fees

    4. Total amounts

Those amounts are stated as pre-tax in North America and include VAT in the rest of the world.
