A New Phone Number Field for Improved Communication

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your customer service capabilities, we have introduced a phone number collection feature. This addition allows phone numbers to be added in the back office and collected directly from drivers via the app.

Add the Phone Number to the User Settings

The new phone number field is available under the Users tab in the back office's Add/Edit user settings. This allows for easy addition and management of phone numbers for each user.

Control Phone Number Collection via the App

To manage phone number collection, a Collect phone number from drivers option has been added to the Account settings. When this option is enabled, drivers will be required to provide their phone numbers to use the app.

Default State for The "Collect Phone Number From Drivers" Option

  • New Accounts: This option is enabled by default for newly created accounts.

  • Existing Accounts Created Prior to This Version Release: This option is disabled by default to provide full control over this feature.

Phone Number Collection via App

Once the Collect phone number from drivers option is enabled, new and existing drivers without a phone number in their back office user information will see a phone number pop-up upon logging in. Drivers must provide their phone numbers to proceed.

As always, drivers who haven't provided their credit card information will see an Add a credit card pop-up.

By incorporating this feature, you can ensure better communication and service with your drivers.
