To install the Shelly meter, please follow the instructions below:
Step 1- Pre Installation
Download the Shelly Smart Control APP
Create a unique user for the operator and login to the app.
Shelly application guide can be found here
Click on "Meter" on the panel you wish to monitor under the Energy Tab.
Select the Shelly meter.
The meter ID will appear upon selection. The meter ID will be used as the MQTT prefix found on the panel (it will be needed for step 6 below in installation phase).
Step 2- Installation
Follow the manual APP instructions to set up your Shelly meter
After you set up the room for the Shelly meter, go to the desired meter:
Go to Networks → Add your network connectivity:
Wifi:
Check the “Enable” checkbox
Add your local Wifi credentials and save
Ethernet:
Check the “Enable” checkbox and click save.
Set up your MQTT credentials:
Go to Network → MQTT
Configuration should be set like below:
Use the MQTT prefix you got from the platform (as in pic #1)
Server IP is 3.64.137.12
Username field is Admin
For Password please contact Wevo team
Check your local IP address:
Connect to the same Wifi of the meter is using (using your phone)
Go to Google and write “What is my IP”
Report the IP to the Wevo team
It is important to ensure that you have a static IP assigned to this site.
If your power is shown negative, check again the installation of the current transformers.
