How to Add a New Site Location

Learn how to add a new site (commercial or apartment building) and configure its settings, including tariffs and energy management.

How to Add a New Site Location (Building)

You can easily add a new location for your charges.

Please note that to add a site, you must have an "Administrator" permission level.

Steps to Create a Site Location (Building)

  1. Click on the "Energy" tab and the Plus sign ("+") to the far right of the screen.

  2. "Add site" window option will appear.

Required Information to Add a Site

Here is the information that can be logged on the site settings:

  • Name - Name of the site.

  • Description - Description of the site.

  • Address - Address of the site.

  • Utility (only for US addresses)- Allows the electricity utility provider to be logged for each site.

  • External ID - Site’s identification number on an external platform such as CPO’s CRM.

  • Electricity Tariff - The site electricity tariff (High voltage, low voltage, fixed, etc.).

  • Energy (load) management - Ensure chargers never exceed site capacity

    • Offline allocation - the default electricity current provided to the charger in case no status is being sent to the back office due to a local network malfunction.

    • Delayed charging - Charge during off-peak hours to save costs. This option will be enabled only if the “Energy (load) management” is on.

      • Off-peak schedule - Hidden by default. Will be displayed when turning on the “Delayed charging” option. Click on the selector to show a visual representation of the selected schedule.

    • PV charging - Available for SolarEdge meter and will be displayed if the SolarEdge meter is integrated into the Panel settings. Customize solar energy utilization and prioritize selected users for direct grid energy charging when solar power is unavailable. Available for SolarEdge meter.

  • QR/Terminal rate - Transaction rate/fee applicable to guests charged by a QR code. This option is available when the “Delayed charging” is off.

  • Member rate - select the rate plan you wish to assign to the site.

  • Roaming rate - select the roaming rate plan you want to assign. To enable this option, "Public charging" must be enabled in settings.
