How to connect the eGauge Meter to the Wevo Back Office

To connect the eGauge Meter to the Wevo Back Office, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the "Energy" tab: Access the Wevo Energy platform and go to the “Energy” tab.

  2. Access Meter Configuration: Locate the panel where you wish to add the meter configuration. Click the three dots next to the panel name to access the settings.

  3. Select the "Meter" Field: In the panel settings, choose the “Meter” field.

  4. Choose "eGauge" as the Meter Type: From the “Meter type” list, select either "eGauge" or "eGauge with Solar". Choose "eGauge with Solar" if you have a solar panel system connected to your eGauge meter.

  5. Enter eGauge Meter Details: You will need to provide the following information from your eGauge meter:

    • Meter name: This can be found on the meter itself.

    • User: The username is also written on the meter.

    • Password: The password for the meter is located on the device.

    • Panel phase 1: The eGauge meter supports multiple CT connections. Set the channel for the first phase of your electrical panel. The subsequent phases should be connected to the following channels on the meter.

    • Solar's phase 1: If you selected "eGauge with Solar", you must specify the phase for your solar panel connection.

  6. Test the Connection: To ensure the configuration is correct, click the “Test connection” button.

  7. Apply Changes: If the test is successful, click “Apply” to save your eGauge meter configuration.

By following these instructions, you can effectively integrate your eGauge meter into the Wevo Energy platform and take advantage of its features to manage your energy usage.
