Firmware Update Tracking on the Chargers Tab

A Last Update Attempt column shows when a charger was last updated and how that attempt ended, and opens the charger's full update history identified by firmware version.

The Chargers tab records the outcome of every firmware update sent from the platform, alongside the firmware string the charger itself reports.

  • Last Update Attempt column: To the right of Firmware, this column shows the date of the most recent firmware update sent to the charger, with the status of that attempt in parentheses, for example 02-Aug-26 (Installed) or 28-Jul-26 (DownloadFailed). The date is the last attempt, successful or not, and the status shows which. Chargers that have never been sent an update show Never.

  • Last Update Status column: Shows the outcome of the firmware update attempt. This column was previously headed OCPP Status. Values, sorting and filtering are unchanged.

  • Firmware column unchanged: The Firmware column still shows the raw string reported by the charger. Each vendor formats that string differently, which is why the update outcome is tracked separately.

  • Full update history: Clicking the Last Update Attempt cell opens Firmware Updates History for that charger, newest first. Each row shows the firmware version ahead of the filename. The history covers every attempt ever made for that charger.

  • CSV export: The Chargers tab export includes the update date and the update status as two separate columns.

Because the tracked value is the update the platform sent, a charger updated by other means keeps showing Never while its Firmware column shows the new version.
